I agree with most of what he said. I wasn't happy that he said he might be willing to accept a few thousand.
My suggestion; it's time for Greece to earn the bailouts it's getting. Greece can lend the EU one of the uninhabited islands in the Aegean for a refugee camp. They can tanker in water with ease (any uninhabited Greek island has no water) then send them back once it's safer. I absolutely guarantee that the flow of migrants would massively diminish once it was obvious that they'd be sent there, not settled in Europe.
